1. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned. For the first video I couldn't believe the amount of time that the entire process took. The amount of time and work to complete the piece was an eye opener. One thing that I learned during the second video is that some ceramics are actually stronger than steel. For the third one I enjoyed watching the creation of "coral reef" and learning what the artists thoughts were.
2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text? They cover the same topics however they go into more detail in showing the artwork being created.
3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the topics: Sculpture, Installation, and Craft? I enjoy watching the videos. The book talks about different styles and techniques but the videos show the actual process from start to finish, which makes you appreciate the amount of skill and work that is involved.
